I completed my Performer’s Certificate in chamber music at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2017 having completed my masters degree in flute performance at the same institution. A student of Jennifer Clippert other musical influences include: Alyce Johnson, Jonathan Keeble, Mary Stolper, Hideko Amano, Janet Stodd, Linda Toote, Trevor Wye, and many more.
During my time at UWM I have been a member of the Sorkin International Institute of Chamber Music, the Whirlwind Quintet, the UWM Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, where I served as principal flute for two years.
While at UWM I have been fortunate enough to serve as Dr. Clippert’s teaching assistant from 2015-2017. During this time my duties have been to help her with part assignments in flute choir, deliver messages to faculty and students, take attendance at special events, and serve as social coordinator for our studio.

In addition, I have also been a teaching assistant for two music history professors, a position which includes attendance, set up and tear down, and grading duties.
I graduated from Augustana college in 2012 with a degree in music education. During my tenure at the school I performed with their Symphony Orchestra, as principal flute, and their Symphonic Band, as principal flute. While there I also performed with the Augustana College Flute Choir and performed two solo recitals my junior and senior years.

In 2013 I substitute taught in District 112 in Illinois. My student teaching experience is in intermediate (IA) and elementary school (IL). I have also worked as an assistant instructor/chamber coach at the Midwest Young Artists’ summer flute camp. Previously, I also volunteered to help teach marching band at District 113 in Illinois.

I am also a certified WERQ and Zumba instructor enjoy running, bicycling, swimming, and dancing in my free time. I enjoy spending time with my friends and making memories with them.
